Palamari Skyros
One of the oldest prehistoric settlements in Greece can be found on the beach of Palamari on the north side of the island, which dates back to the early and middle Bronze Age (2500-1800 BC). Ongoing archaeological excavation is bringing to light fascinating information about the daily life of the people of the period.
Archaeological Museum
The museum exhibits collections of finds from various archaeological sites on the island dating from the EH period (2800 to 1900 BC) to Roman times, architectural parts and sculptures of various periods as well as sarcophagi from the EH period.

Folklore Museum
The Museum of Manos Faltaits is one of the first local-historical Folklore Museums in Greece, loaded with the traditional culture and history of Skyros.
The Museum was founded in 1964 with the aim of recording and preserving the Skyrian heritage on a local, national and international level.
Skyros Castle
The Castle of Skyros is located at the highest point of Skyros Chora on a rock 179 meters high. Archaeological research has found traces of uninterrupted life in the Chora for more than 3500 years. During the Classical, Roman and Byzantine periods the acropolis was fortified. The castle was the refuge of the island's inhabitants throughout this period, as well as up to the 19th century.
Rupert Brook
The beautiful Eternal Poetry Square in Chora, with a fantastic view of the endless blue Aegean Sea, adorned by a sculpture dedicated to the philhellenic English poet Rupert Brooke who is buried in the southern part of the island.
Ancient quarry in Pouria
The area of Pouria is located very close to Chora, in the northeast of the island. The spectacle offered by the ruins of the ancient quarry of the famous "Scyria Stone", which was famous during the Roman era, is unique. The quarry occupies a large part of the coast, creating an image that takes the visitor back to another era.
Plateau Ari
The plateau of Ari is a beautiful landscape of aria (oak), maple and fir trees on the southern side of the island. The wider area is the natural habitat of the Skyrian horse. Today, herds of pure and half-blooded Skyrian horses frequent the area to quench their thirst in Lustria, an earthen pit with standing rainwater.
Fere-Kambou Dam
The Fere-Kambos Dam is a reservoir with a capacity of 1 million cubic metres.
Exhibition of sculptor Georgios Lambrou
A genuine artist who silently and quietly creates magnificent works of art. Several of his works have taken their place in museums and private collections in various parts of Greece, as well as many of them decorate the island where he was born and loved.
